I started my career in the years between 2018 and 2020 working for five years at New Mood Recording Studio in the province of Como while also attending Accademia del Suono in Milan.
With 2021 I decided to move to Milan to pursue the desire of further immersing myself in the city’s vibrant music scene and work on my artistic aspirations.
During my first period in Milan, I was one of founders of Mo Jam Collective and I followed its three years collaboration with BIKO Club on Jam Sessions and production of both Italian and international talents like ReadyRockDee, Lauryyn, Gabriella di Capua. Additionally, I worked as a front of house engineer at Live Club in Trezzo and Biko Club, managing sound for live concerts and events.
Throughout my career, I’ve also had the opportunity to work on major corporate events, providing sound engineering for brands like BMW, Ferrari, and Maserati. I collaborated with Natuzzi for events, live recording of podcasts, postproduction and Intesa San Paolo for editing, cleaning up files, mixing and mastering the audio files for a podcast centered on works and thinking of Giorgio Gaber. I’ve been involved in sound work for several notable theaters, including Auditorium Verdi, Teatro Arsenale and Teatro Pacta in Milan, as well as the Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia “Leonardo da Vinci”.
It was during this time that my partners and I launched the Planet Butter music project to which I gave my contribution in the release of our first EP with Riva Mare Records. More specifically I was responsible for mixing and mastering the entirety of the EP. We are now working on our new album in collaboration with Laboratorio Testone and Carlo Madaghiele.
Gronda project, my solo musical venture, has been a particularly essential part of my artistic journey. Gronda allows me to put into play my abilities as a producer, highlighting my skills in music composition, sound design, and production. This project has enabled me to create a unique blend of acoustic and electronic sounds in the production, arranging, and recording of the tracks. It was a mostly solitary and introspective creative process but enriched by the collaboration with London Saxophonist Callum Connell for Shaggy’s Noise track.
Beyond these projects, I focused on building my own studio in Settimo Milanese, with the engineering help of MassAcoustic for the space’s acoustic treatment. The studio has since become a hub for my work as a sound engineer and music producer.
Even in the development of different projects, however, my vision remains centered on creating quality content and seeking synergy with like-minded professionals. I strongly believe in the artistic benefit of keeping an open mind to new opportunities for creative partnerships in sound design, production, and music expression in all its forms.
